BACKGROUND OF THE FOUNDER GFLM

Learning method format Ghani (GFLM) was founded by Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Ghani Bin Awang. He is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Technology and Director of the UMP Publications at Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Gambang Kuantan, Pahang Darul Makmur.

He has experience in teaching at universities for 28 years and as a director of private college for 5 years. Holds a Bachelor of Science honors Biology/Mathematics USM, Master of Education Guidance and Counseling Degree USM and Technology Management doctorate from UMP.

He has produced 29 books and 23 text modules study orientation skills centered, textbooks in research and mathematics. He also published articles in ISI journals, international journals and national level as well as prolific writing articles about teaching and learning.

He has won several honors including the gold medal in a number of research such as MTE, MOSTI, Bitara Scholar Award, Community grant KPT, PRGS Grant Type A, FRGS Grant highly recommended, Excellent Researches Publication Award (Faculty of Technology).

Recently, he has nominated as a Top 5 UMP's Researchers by Number of Publications among IPTA and nomination for the best of research project for FRGS (Fundamental research Grant Scheme)

He is also active in carrying out learning services and motivation courses to university professors, college lectures, polytechnic, school teachers and students at the universities, matriculation, higher teaching institution, colleges, secondary schools and primary schools.

He is a motivational speaker for Pahang RTM from 2003 until 2011. He recently published a method learning called: Ghani's Format Learning Methodology (GFLM) for universities students, colleges, SPM, PMR and UPSR students. Has been involved in give courses Ghani's Format Learning Methodology (GFLM) and study skills to more than 100 schools all over Malaysia with collaboration EMPOWER, ECER and UMP
